 D. & G. LIVESTOCK principals, Doug Haigh of “Haigslea Droughtmasters” and Garnet Kahler of “Smithfield,” Nanango, are aiming to service the needs of cattlemen and women primarily in southern Queensland.  Both Doug and Garnet have in excess of sixty years of cattle breeding and industry experience between them.

Their consistent attention to on property inspections has helped to assure that both buyers and vendors alike, are not disappointed at their sales.

Their last Tropical All Breeds sale was held at Nanango, Queensland on September 16th, 2004 with 121 stud and herd bulls for a clearance of 86% and an average of $3138.

D.&G. LIVESTOCK conducted a dispersal sale for Giunda Droughtmaster Stud which was held at Cooloola Saleyards, Gympie in February this year and was opened by Mr. Ed McCormack of “Clonlara Droughtmasters”, Dilga.
111 cattle were offerred for sale, grossed $334,050 with a clearance of 100% and average price of $3,309.
